Chuck Petty

Living in Livermore, Calif. since 1966. Went to Sacramento City College, Joined Air Force reserves (Viet Nam), flying as a load master. Married to Shirley Jalanivich in 1973. Worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Livermore in Mechanical Engineering. Enjoyed my work with lasers used for military and medical applications. Have always been active in many ways including bicycling, hiking, camping, boat builder and racing, vintage cars, now riding dirt bike motorcycles and RV'ing around the most beautiful parts of the USA.

Enjoyed music playing the trumpet with the band, orchestra, and jazz band. Many good memories of those days. Now that I joined this exceptional High School web site (2018) I have been very happy to see that so many friends have done so well but also saddened to read of those who have not been so fortunate.
