Bill is correct about JoAnne being a very nice person but, more importantly, she was fun to be around. Those of us who did have never forgotten her. Ken, I am very sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace.

I was saddened to read about the loss of Franie. She always had a smile on her face and was happy for everyone. Ken my heart goes out to you and your family. I have not seen either of you in years but that does not mean I don't remember our times growing up and laughs during our lives at school.

I was sad to hear that Joanne has passed away . My memory with Joanne was after High School. We were both very young mothers and I was walking my baby and didn't know that Joanne lived near by and was walking her baby. We soon got together and strolled our babies together. Every reuion she would mention the walking of our babies, REST IN PEACE Joanne!!!

The best thing about JoAnn was that she was so genuine. No Frills. What you saw was what you got. I have to say a word about Kenny. We both worked for the Department of Justice and every once in awhile I'd run into him. One of the sweetest men I've ever known. I'm surprised he ended up in law enforcement. I can only imagine him in a tense confrontation saying, " Hey, buddy... put down the gun... Let's go have a beer and work this thing out..."
Joanne and Kenny were married for 62 years. What a great friendship they must have had. What a great model they were for their children. What a great model they were for all of us..

Joanne was so much fun! We were in Camp Fire Girls together. Another time, her mother drove us to All City Choir practice and the car's horn got stuck! We all kept laughing while her mother searched for a gas station to help. JoAnn welcomed me at one of our class reunions; she greeted me with genuine warmth. She was loved and will be missed.
